Diana Damrau Cancels Paris Concert

By Francisco Salazar

Diana Damrau has canceled her performance with the Philharmonie de Paris.

The orchestra announced that due to health reasons, Diana Damrau was forced to cancel her concert scheduled for Oct. 25. As a result, there will be no performance that evening.

The concert was part of her Songs of Richard Strauss tour which began in Munich earlier this month and is set to continue in New York, London, Antwerp, and Hamburg, among other cities.

Damrau recently ended a recital tour with Xavier de Maistre and is set to return to the Bayerische Staatsoper, Teatro alla Scala, and Metropolitan Opera this season in productions of “I Masnadieri,” “Romeo et Juliette,” and “Maria Stuarda.” The soprano continues her tour on Nov. 1, 2019 in Cologne.
