Denyce Graves, Erin Morley, Lawrence Brownlee, & Latonia Moore Among Opera Carolina’s 2025-26 Season Headliners

Opera Carolina has unveiled its 2025-26 lineup, marking the first season under new management.

“A Night to Remember” opens the season. The concert is presented in partnership with the Puccini Festival of Torre del Lago.

Performance Date: November 1, 2025

The “9/11 Commemorative Concert” features a performance of Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater.”

Performance Date: September 11, 2025

A double bill of Puccini’s “Suor Angelica” and “Gianni Schicchi,” opens the mainstage season. Latonia Moore, Daniela Barcellona, Natale De Carolis, and Eric Ferring are among the cast. Davide Garattini Raimondi directs “Suor Angelica,” and David Warren makes his opera directorial debut with “Gianni Schicchi.”

Performance Dates: January 15-17, 2026

The concert series, “Lift Every Voice and Sing” celebrates Black composers and artists.

Performance Date: February 28, 2026

Denyce Graves sings the role of Baba and serves as director of Gian Carlo Menotti’s “The Medium.”

Performance Dates: April 17-19, 2026

Erin Morley and Lawrence Brownlee perform together in “Bel Canto Incanto.”

Performance Date: May 2, 2026

“The Magic Flute” is presented in a co-production with Teatro Sociale di Como and the International Lyric Academy. Ivan Stefanutti directs.

Performance Dates: June 26-28, 2026
