Daniel Rustioni Receives Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres

Conductor Daniele Rustioni has received the insignia of the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Rustioni is currently the Music Director of the Opéra National de Lyon and has conducted at the Metropolitan Opera, Bayerische Staatsoper, Salzburg Festival, Théâtre des Champs Elysées, and Royal Opera House.

He also served as Music Director of the Ulster Orchestra, where he developed significant activities for the ensemble including a European Union tour in May 2022 and an acclaimed performance at the BBC Proms in August 2022.

This summer, Rustioni leads “Madama Butterfly” and “I Vespri Sicilianni” at the Festival Aix-En-Provence. He also conducts next season at the Opéra National de Lyon.
