Dallas Opera Hart Institute For Women Conductors To Celebrate 5th Anniversary With Showcase Concert

In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Hart Institute for Women Conductors, the Dallas Opera is set to present a showcase concert on Nov. 9, 2019 at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.

The performance will feature singers from Opera for Peace as well as the Dallas Opera. Among the 2019 conductors that will be spotlighted are Tiffany Chang, Jane Kim, Tamara Dworetz, and Molly Turner (all from the U.S.) Polish conductor Marta Kluczynska, and Madeleine Tsai of Taiwan; these six conductors are currently in residency between Oct. 27 and Nov. 9, 2019.

Among the singers performing in the concert are Brian Jagde, Gabriella Reyes, and Andrei Kymach, the 2019 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Winner.

The concert will feature music by such composers as Rossini, Puccini, Mozart, Bizet, Verdi, Donizetti, Délibes, and Handel.
