Garsington Opera Announces Four Operas for 2025 Season

First up is a production of Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore” conducted by Chloe Rooke and Christopher Luscombe. The opera stars Madison Leonard, Oleksiy Palchykov, Carles Pachón, and Richard Burkhard.
Performance Dates: May 28 – July 21, 2025
Then comes Tchaikovsky’s “The Queen of Spades” in a production by Jack Furness. Douglas Boyd conducts. Aaron Cawley, Laura Wile, Diana Montague, Roberty Hayward, and Roderick Williams star.
Performance Dates: May 29 – July 30, 2025
Peter Whelan conducts a Ruth Knight-directed production of Händel’s “Rodelinda.” Lucy Crowe, Tim Mead, Ed Lyon, Hugh Cutting, and Brandon Cedel headline the cast.
Performance Dates: June 13 – July 19, 2025
The season ends with a revival of John Cox’s “Fidelio.” Jamie Manton directs the revival and Gérard Korsten conducts. It stars Robert Murray, Jane Archibald, Musa Ngqungwana, Jonathan Lemalu, Isabelle Peters, Oliver Johnston, and Richard Burkhard.
