The 2026 Daegu Global Opera Market will take place at the Daegu International Opera Festival.

Taking place from Oct. 9 to 13, 2026, the Daegu Global Opera Market will bring together opera professionals, artists, producers, and cultural leaders from around the world to foster international collaboration, artist mobility, and opera
production exchange. The program will feature repertoire pitching sessions, showcase performances, exhibition booths, roundtable discussions, and one-on-one business meetings designed to encourage international co-productions and touring opportunities.

A highlight of the Market is the Global Young Artist Casting Audition. Representatives from 15 leading opera
companies and cultural institutions from Korea and abroad will serve as jury members.

This project is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea and managed by the Korea Arts Management Service (KAMS) as part of a national initiative to strengthen Korea’s performing arts market.
