The DaCapo Society of Sarasota Opera and Palm Avenue Fine Art Gallery will join forces to present a Halloween-themed opening night celebration for the 2025-26 opera season on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025.
The showcase begins at Palm Avenue Fine Art Gallery (10 South Palm Avenue) at 5:30 p.m. with a curated wine selection, hors d’oeuvres, and a display of European-inspired artwork by Andrew Lattimore, George Bodine, EJ Paprocki, and Joseph Paquet.
At 7:30 p.m. is the season-opening performance of Mozart’s “Così fan tutte,” starring Hanna Brammer, Olivia Vote, Luke Norvell, Filippo Fontana, Virginia Mims, and Jake Stamatis. Victor DeRenzi conducts and Stephanie Sundine.
“This collaboration is more than curating a different experience for a fun night out — it’s a shared commitment to providing meaningful opportunities for younger audiences to engage with Sarasota’s arts institutions and each other,” said Lael Mohib, Sarasota Opera’s Director of Marketing, per an official press release.
