Curtis Institute of Music Announces Updates to 2023-24 Season

The Curtis Institute of Music has announced updates to its 2023-24 season.

The Curtis Opera Theatre will present Poulenc’s “Les Mamelles de Tirésias” and Weill’s “The Seven Deadly Sins” with Michelle Rofrano conducting and Eve Summer directing. The former is presented in French while the latter is performed in German. Performances will take place at the Philadelphia Film Center.

Performance Dates: March 15 & 17, 2024

There will be a Ned Rorem Celebration Concert featuring soprano Sarah Fleiss, mezzo-soprano Katie Trigg, and baritone Jarrett Ott performing. They are joined by pianist Miloš Repický.

Performance Dates: April 2, 2024

Curtis Opera Theatre will also present “The Cunning Little Vixen.” Vinay Parameswaran conducts and John Matsumoto directs. The showcase also features the Philadelphia Boys Choir. Performances will take place at the Kimmel Center.
