Clara Rottsolk, Dashon Burton, Brian Giebler, & Guadalupe Paz Headline Carmel Bach Festival’s 2025 Slate

The Carmel Bach Festival has unveiled its 88th season.
Here is a breakdown of the vocal performances on offer.
First up is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” which features music by Mendelssohn, Stravinsky, and Haydn. Vocal soloists include Clara Rottsolk, Dashon Burton, Brian Giebler, and Guadalupe Paz. Grete Pederson conducts.
Performance Dates: July 12 & 19, 2025
Then comes Bach’s Mass in B minor, also conducted by Pederson. Soloists once again include Clara Rottsolk, Dashon Burton, Brian Giebler, and Guadalupe Paz.
Performance Dates: July 13 & 20, 2025
The vocal quartet of Clara Rottsolk, Dashon Burton, Brian Giebler, and Guadalupe Paz will also headline a concert of Mozart’s Vespers, Requiem, and Peteris Vasks’ “Dona nobis pacem.”
Performance Dates: July 15 & 22, 2025
There will be a concert of choral music led by Andrew Megill that features works by Bach, Byrd, and Allegri.
Performance Dates: July 16 & 23, 2025
There will also be several chamber concerts and community showcases throughout the season, which ends on July 26, 2025.
