
CKP Announces Carlos Vicente as Director
By David SalazarHouston-based integrated marketing and communications agency CKP has appointed Carlos Vicente as a director, effective immediately.
Vicente began his arts leadership journey at the Houston Symphony in 2006, serving as director of marketing for subscriptions, before going on to hold senior roles at Sarasota Opera, Grand Rapids Symphony, Orlando Ballet, and most recently the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he served as vice president for marketing and sales. Beyond his institutional roles, Vicente has contributed to the field through board and governance service with the League of American Orchestras, Opera America, and the Amazonas Opera Festival.
“He’s been on both sides of the client/agency relationship and possesses unrivaled expertise that will help our clients grow their audiences,” CKP CEO and Founder Carey Kirkpatrick, said per an official press release.
