Cincinnati Opera Announces ‘Opera Goes to Church’ Partnership

Cincinnati Opera has announced the return of “Opera Goes to Church!”
The series is presented in partnership with Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, Southern Baptist Church, and New Jerusalem Baptist Church, and combines gospel, jazz, and classical music to provide a unique experience.
The showcases will feature famed opera soloists as well as congregational choirs and local musicians.
The first performance in the series will take place at Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church on June 3, 2025, followed the next day by a showcase at Southern Baptist Church. Then on June 5, the series closes out at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
