Christine Goerke to Lead The Glimmerglass Virtual Gala on April 7

The Glimmerglass Festival has announced that it will be presenting a special virtual gala on April 7, 2021.
The gala will be presented in partnership with Broadway Unlocked and will be hosted by superstar soprano Christine Goerke. Audiences will get a chance to see performances by Glimmerglass artists and other special guests. Finally, there will also be a preview of the organization’s 2021 season.
Early last month, the company announced that it would be moving forward with its 2021 edition that would feature productions of “The Magic Flute,” “Il Trovatore,” “Songbird,” “Gods and Mortals,” “To the World,” and The Passion of Mary Cardwell Dawson” with such opera superstars as Eric Owens, Isabel Leonard, William Burden, Latonia Moore, Gregory Kunde, Raehann Bryce-Davis, and Michael Mayes, among others.
The Glimmerglass Virtual Gala is set to kick off at 7 p.m. ET.
