
Choral Arts Celebrates 60th Anniversary With Spring 2025 Slate
By David SalazarChoral Arts has unveiled its upcoming slate for Spring 2025.
First up is a performance of Haydn’s “Creation” at The Kennedy Center. Marie Bucoy-Calavan will conduct the showcase with soloists and the complete program set to be announced at a later date.
“This masterful oratorio brings to life the biblical creation story, pairing vivid orchestration and powerful choral harmonies,” says the company’s official website about the masterwork.
Performance Date: March 30, 2025
As the summer commences, the company will present “A Choral Legacy: 60 Years of Creating Stories Through Voice,” also at the Kennedy Center. This event will also be conducted by Bucoy-Calavan and will feature a new commission that honors the organization’s 60th anniversary.
