Members of the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra will set sail for an evening cruise along the Chicago shoreline on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at 7:30 pm CDT.

The cruise will depart from Shoreline’s dock at Polk Bros Park at the southwest corner of Navy Pier.

“All Aboard for Opera” is a collaboration between the Orchestra and Shoreline Sightseeing, and will feature three chamber ensembles comprising Orchestra musicians performing favorite melodies from the operatic repertoire.

The concert is scheduled to last 60 minutes, after which Orchestra members will mingle with guests for conversation. WFMT’s Maggie Clennon Reberg will be hosting and sharing interesting facts about opera and the Orchestra.

Included in the ticket price are two drink tickets and light appetizers. Tickets are purchasable on Shoreline’s website.
