Central City Opera is gearing up for its “Opera Teaser” on March 13, 2025.

The organization revealed that Hilary Ginther, Javier Abreu, Alex DeSocio, and Jeremy Reger will be the performers for the evening, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails at The Wellshire Event Calendar.

The performance proper will kick off at 7:30 p.m. with a 6:30 dinner preceding it.

Ginther has performed with such companies New Orleans Opera, LA Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Opera Omaha, Cincinnati Opera, Wolf Trap Opera, Virginia Opera, Opera Columbus, Musica Viva Hong Kong, and Central City Opera.

Abreu’s credits include appearances with the Central City Opera, Nashville Opera, The Israeli Opera, Opera de Oviedo, Theater Basel, Teatro Municipal de Chile, Austin Lyric Opera, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, and the Stuttgart Staatsoper.

Meanwhile, DeSocio is a Laurette/Winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition and a two-time Semi-Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition. His performances have been seen by audiences at the Houston Grand Opera, Florida Grand Opera, and Pearlman Arts Center in NYC, among others.

Finally, Reger has been on the music staff at such companies as Virginia Opera, Opera Steamboat, Eugene Opera, Hawaii Opera Theater, Mill City Opera, the Opera Studio at Recife, the Youth Symphony of Guaruhlos, Brazil, and the Minnesota Opera.
