Teatro alla Scala to Stream ‘Nabucco’ with Luca Salsi & Anna Netrebko

On May 29, La Scala TV is set to present a livestream of Verdi’s “Nabucco.”

The live stream will feature a new production by Alessandro Talevi with Riccardo Chailly conducting the opera in a version that includes the divertissements composed by Verdi in 1848.

The cast will be led by Luca Salsi as Nabucco and Anna Netrebko as Abigaille. The cast also includes Francesco Meli Ismaele, Michele Pertusi as Zaccaria, and Veronica Simeoni as Fenena.

The production is set to open on May 16 and is set to run June 9, 2026. The performances on May 16, 19, 22 and 26, 2026 will be audio-visually recorded. After the live on May 29, the show will be available on demand until June 5, 2026.
