Catalina Cuervo Launches ‘Latin Heat’ With Long Beach Opera

Catalina Cuervo and the Long Beach Opera have teamed up for a new show entitled “Latin Heat.”

The new online program, which will discuss Latin American operas, Zarzuela, and unknown Latin works, will also showcase the soprano performing songs and talking to special guests. “Latin Heat” will air on Facebook every Monday at at 4:00 PM PST and 7:00 PM EST.

Cuervo is known as the “fiery” Colombian soprano who has performed all over the world  at such houses including the New York City Opera, Atlanta Opera, Anchorage Opera, and Florida Grand Opera. She was supposed to make her Long Beach Opera debut in June. The soprano is best known for her role as “Frida” and “Maria de Buenos Aires.”

Cuervo is the latest star to create a show joining the likes of Ainhoa Arteta, Isabel leonard, Angel Blue, and Sondra Radvanovsky.
