Opera Southwest has announced a cast change for its production of “Dolores.”

The company said that the role of Helen will be performed by Christina Martos.

Martos is a multidisciplinary performer  who has performed at the City Theater Pittsburgh, Central City Opera, the Washington National Opera, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, New World Symphony in Miami, and the Marilyn Horne Foundation Festival at Carnegie Hall.

Martos is set to join a cast that includes Kelly Guerra, Sergio Martinez, Alex Boyer, Ingela Onstad, Reese Cruz, Rolfe Dauz, and Brian Cheney. Anthony Barrese conducts the production by Octavio Cardenas.

“Dolores” will be performed between Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, 2025.
