The Teatro San Carlo has announced a cast change for “Un Ballo in Maschera.”

The company said that the Oct. 5 and 10, the role of Amelia will be performed by Oksana Dyka. She will replace Valeria Sepe, who was originally announced.

Dyka is a Ukrainian soprano who has performed Teatro Comunale di Bologna,, Teatro alla Scala, Semperoper Dresden, Arena di Verona, Opéra national de Paris, Arena di Verona, Metropolitan Opera, and Deutsche Oper Berlin.

The soprano is set to perform alongside Vincenzo Costanzo, Ernesto Petti, Elizabeth DeShong, and Cassandre Berthon. Pinchas Steinberg is set to conduct the production by Pierluigi Samaritani.

“Un Ballo in Maschera” is set to open on Oct. 4 and runs through Oct. 11, 2025.
