Cast Change: Aleksandra Kuzak Joins Opéra de Monte Carlo’s ‘Aida’ Cast

The Opéra de Monte Carlo has announced a cast change for its production of ‘Aida.”

The company said that “We are delighted to welcome Aleksandra Kurzak who, following her triumph at the Opéra Bastille, will perform the role of Aida from 16 to 22 November 2025. Due to personal reasons, Anna Pirozzi will be unable to take part in this production.”

Kurzak made her role debut as Aida at the Arena di Verona and has gone on to perform the role at the Paris Opera.

She is set to join a cast that includes Antonio Di Matteo, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Arsen Soghomonyan, Erwin Schrott, and Ludovic Tézier. Massimo Zanetti conducts the production by Davide Livermore.

“Aida” is set to be performed from Nov. 16 to 22, 2025.
