Carmen Solis Joins GoDirect Management

Soprano Carmen Solis has joined GoDirect for General Management.

Solis is a winner of such competitions as  Operalia, Francisco Viñas, and Manuel Ausensi and has performed at the Bilbao Opera, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Teatro de Reggio Emilia, and Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile. She is also a frequent guest of the Teatro de la Zarzuela.

Solis is well-known for her roles as Liú in “Turandot,” “Madama Butterfly,” Nedda in “Pagliacci” Leonora in “Il Trovatore,” Anna in “Le Villi,” the title role of Tosca, Contessa in “Le Nozze di Figaro,” and Rosario in “Goyesas.”

She has performed with such orchestras as ORTVE, Orfeón Donostiarra, ORCAM, Coro y Orquesta Nacional de España, OSPA, Oviedo Filarmonia, Sinfónica de Navarra, Sinfónica de Euskadi, Orquesta de Barcelona y Nacional de Catalunya, OEX, Sinfónica de Bilbao, Sinfónica del Vallés, Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, and OSCYL.

This season she is set to debut Puccini’s “Manon Lescaut” and Salud in “La vida breve.”
