Carmela Remigio & Salome Jicia Headline Donizetti 2019 Festival

The Donizetti Festival has announced its 2019 lineup featuring three operas with star-studded casts.
Roberto De Candia headlines a new project of Donizetti’s “Pietro il Grande” with Loriana Castellano, Paola Gardina, Francisco Brito, and Marco Filippo Romano.
Rinaldo Alessandrini conducts Ondadurto Teatro – Marco Paciotti e Lorenzo Pasquali’s new production.
Performance Dates: Nov. 15-Dec. 1, 2019

Jean-Luc Tingaud conducts the first-ever production of Donizetti’s “L’Ange de Nisida” directed by Francesco Micheli. Florian Sempey, Paul Gay, Francesco Demuro, Salome Jicia, and Evgeny Stavinsky star in the landmark production.

Performance Dates: Nov. 16-21, 2019

Riccardo Frizza and Carla Delfrate take turns at the pit in a new production of Donizetti’s acclaimed “Lucrezia Borgia.” The new production by Andrea Bernard will be led by Carmela Remigio in the title role, Marko Mimica, Varduhi Abrahamyan, and Xabier Anduaga.
