The Cincinnati May Festival has announced the lineup for the 2024 season.

The May Festival celebrates Robert Porco’s birthday and 35 years as Director of Choruses with “Bob’s Big Sing: A May Festival Reunion.”

Performance Date: March 23, 2024

Soprano Camilla Tilling and tenor Nicholas Phan will serve as soloists in Haydn’s oratorio “The Creation.” They are joined by the May Festival Chorus and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra led by Porco.

Performance Date: May 17, 2024

“Anthems” features works by Ralph Vaughan Williams, David Lang, and Julia Wolfe, including the world premiere of her May Festival commission “All that breathes.” Stephanie Childress conducts.

Performance Date: May 18, 2024

“Voices of the Earth” is presented by the Steiger Butte Singers, Bang on a Can All-Stars, and the May Festival Chorus. Teddy Abrams conducts.

Performance Date: May 23, 2024

The Lorelei Ensemble and the May Festival Chorus give the final concert, “Her Story.” François López-Ferrer conducts.
