Camilla Nylund Headlines Wiener Staatsoper’s ‘Die Fledermaus’ Stream on New Year’s Eve

The company will showcase the opera on its streaming platform for free.
Simone Young will conduct the legendary production by Otto Schenk. The cast includes Camilla Nylund, Wolfgang Bankl, Johannes Martin Kränzle, Hiroshi Amako, Martin Häßler, Norbert Ernst, Regula Mühlemann, Ileana Tonca, and Johannes Silberschneider.
The performance continues the company’s tradition of ringing in the New Year with the beloved operetta by Strauss Jr. It also sees Nylund return to the production which she sang back in 2020.
The production is set to run through Jan. 6, 2024.
