Calgary Concert Opera to Present Benefit Concert ‘Fear Is Not Love’
By Afton WootenThe Calgary Concert Opera will present a benefit concert in support of “Fear Is Not Love” on June 13, 2023.
The “Let’s Change the Conversation” concert will feature Barbara King, Uwe Dambruch, Kathleen Morrison, Dan Rowley, Anna Pompeeva, Jeanine Williams, Alyssa Durnie, and Carlyn Holmes. Grace King will accompany on the piano.
A silent auction will also occur with all proceeds going to the organization.
“Fear is Not Love,” formerly the Calgary Women’s Emergency Shelter, supports those affected by domestic violence and abuse within the Calgary community.
The concert will take place at the Cardel Theatre at 7 p.m. local time.
