Brooklyn Art Song Society to Present New Voices Festival

Brooklyn Art Song Society is set to open its New Voices Festival on April 6, 2025.

The evening will include Cecilia Livingston’s new cycle which explores family bonds, loss, and the power of Love.

The program will also feature a celebration of the recent flourishing of songs by Black composers and encore performances of BASS commissions by Eve Beglarian and Scott Wheeler.

Soloists will include mezzo-soprano Devony Smith mezzo-soprano, tenor Aaron Crouch, and baritone Greg Feldman. At the piano audiences will hear Michael Brofman, and Danny Zelibor.

The performance will also include a Pre-Concert Lecture with Cecilia Livingston.
