Boulanger Initiative will host their annual two-day music festival, WoCo Fest 2025: Uplift, on May 30-31, at the The Mansion, Strathmore.

This year’s event is an official World Pride Partner Event. For the purposes of this article only vocal concerts are included.

The Opening Concert features the New Choir of Mt. Vernon with various instrumentalists including sitarist, vocalist, and composer Ami Dang, and pianist Leah Claiborne, among others.

Performance Date: May 30, 2025

The lineup for “All Day at The Mansion, Strathmore” includes “Tapestry: Women’s Voices Then and Now,” a concert showcasing songs by Beatrice de Dia, salon music of Pauline Viardot, a tango by Jocelyn Pook, and more, and a presentation by composer, performer, and media artist Pamela Z. Throughout the day, exploratory music workshops are held offering women and gender-marginalized composers a safe space to perform new works in front of a live audience.
