Julius Drake and baritone Birger Radde are set to appear at LIFE Victoria on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 8 p.m.

The duo will present “Sueño de Wagner” at the Sant Pau Recinte Modernista in Barcelona, a program that explores Wagner’s artistic legacy through works that reflect his impact beyond his own music. The program will include works by Wagner Franz Liszt, Henri Duparc, Camille Saint-Saëns, Hans Pfitzner, and Richard Strauss.

The Barcelona recital precedes a performance of the same program in Bayreuth, where Drake and Radde will appear on Jan. 18 at Wahnfried, the former home of Richard and Cosima Wagner. The two concerts mark the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Bayreuth Festspielhaus.

Radde, a regular artist at the Bayreuth Festival, is known for his work at major German and European opera houses, as well as for his interpretations of Lieder and oratorio repertoire.
