On Friday, Nov. 14, LIFE Victoria will present a special concert featuring Waltraud Meier, alongside Samuel Hasselhorn and pianist Joseph Breinl.

The program aims to explore the intersecting relationships between Robert Schumann, Clara Wieck Schumann, and Johannes Brahsm.

The program will include songs by Robert Schumann such as “Widmung” (Op. 25 No. 1), “Die Lotosblume” (Op. 25 No. 2), and “Zwielicht” (Op. 39 No. 10); as well as others by Clara Wieck Schumann, such as “Liebeszauber” (Op. 13 No. 3) and “Die Lorelei” (WoO 19). The program is rounded out by works by Brahms, including “Feldeinsamkeit” (Op. 86 No. 2), “Von ewiger Liebe” (Op. 43 No. 1), and “In stiller Nacht” (WoO 33 No. 49).

The trio presented this program at Wigmore Hall in London back in September. Following this performance in Barcelona, Meier, Hasselhorn, and Breinl will present at the Staatstheater Nürnberg on Nov. 17, 2025.
