Berkshire Opera Festival has announced its 2026 season.

“Winterreise” will get a performance at Tanglewood’s Studio E in Lenox, Massachusetts. Jarrett Porter and Brian Garman perform.

Performance Date: March 7, 2026

Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” will be presented at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The opera stars Christine Lyons as Lucia, Terrence Chin-Loy as Edgardo, Dean Murphy as Enrico, Stefan Egerstrom as Raimondo, and Jordan Costa as Arturo, with Brian Garman conducting and stage direction by Jonathon Loy.

Performance Dates: August 22 – 28, 2026

Grétry’s “Beauty and the Beast” (“Zémire et Azor”) will be performed at a venue to be announced, conducted by Brian Garman and directed by Mo Zhou, with casting also to be announced.
