
Bella Voce to Present ‘Messiah’ in Milwaukee & Evanston
By David SalazarChicago’s Bella Voce will feature complete performances of Händel’s “Messiah” in Milwaukee on Nov. 22 and Evanston on Nov. 23, 2025.
The showcases will be led by Artistic Director Andrew Lewis. Joining the 24-voice Bella Voce will be the 20-player period-instrument Bella Voce Sinfonia. Soloists include Orna Arania, Anna Joy Buegel, Oliver Camacho, Mark Haddad, Kimberly Jones, Amanda Koopman, Luke Lemmeier, Eric Miranda, Annie Rasmussen, Matthew Schlesinger, Ryan Townsend Strand, Josefien Stopelenburg, and Vince Wallace.
The Milwaukee performance, presented in collaboration with Early Music Now, will be recorded for broadcast on PBS and marks Bella Voce’s debut appearance in the city.
“Bella Voce is honored to present Milwaukee’s first complete period-instrument performance at the invitation of the esteemed organization Early Music Now,” said Lewis, per an official press release.
