Barno Ismatullaeva Replaces Olga Peretyatko in Hamburg

Uzbek soprano Barno Ismatullaeva is set to jump in for Olga Peretyatko, who is sick.
She will perform alongside composer and pianist Leon Gurvitch. The program will include Gurvitch’s music.
Ismatullaeva has performed at the Staatsoper Hamburg, Bregenz Festival, Staatsoper Hannover, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Aalto-Theater in Essen, Bucharest State Opera, and Polish National Opera, among others. Her repertoire includes the music of Bellini, Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Bizet, Donizetti, Halevy, Puccini, and Wagner.
Peretyatko is set to return to the stage on Sept. 26 for a production of “Il Turco in Italia.”
