The Banca del Fucino has pledged to become a sponsor of the Fondazione Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.

President Mauro Masi of the Banca del Fucino signed an accord with Sovrintendente Carlo Fuortes for three years in which the Banca del Fucino will be an important economic contributor to the Fondazione Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.

The new accord comes at a time when the live theater is paralyzed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The partnership will also contribute to sustain the “Fabbrica” Young Artist Program of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma.

The new accord comes on the heals of the theater launching a fundraising campaign “I love Roma Opera aperta” in order to raise funds to help reopen the theater after the pandemic.

The theater also announced that it will present a summer season with a new production of “Rigoletto” and would likely not be performing during the autumn season,
