The English National Opera has announced its 2026-27 season.

The season opens with Du Yun and Royce Vavrek’s “Angel’s Bone” with Allison Cook, Rodney Earl Clarke, Matthew McKinney, Mariam Wallentin, and Keith Pun. Baldur Brönnimann conducts the production by Kip Williams.

Ben Glassberg conducts Puccini’s “Tosca” with Annilese Miskimmon directing. Axelle Fanyo headlines with Chaz’men Williams-Ali, Christopher Purves, and Craig Colclough.

Performance Dates: Oct 30-Dec, 11, 2026

Gluck’s “Iphigénie en Tauride” will be conducted by David Bates and directed by Lyndsey Turner. The cast includes Christine Rice, Jacques Imbrailo, Nick Pritchard, Morgan Pearse, Olivia Rose Tringham, and Ava Dodd.

Performance Dates: Nov. 6-14, 2026

Kaija Saariaho & Amin Maalouf’s “Adriana Mater” will star Kristina Stanek, Lauren Fagan, Caspar Singh, and Leigh Melrose. André de Ridder conducts the production by Annilese Miskimmon.

Performance Dates: Nov. 28-Dec. 12, 2026

The company will offer Elena Langer’s “To Die For [A Comedy].”

Kevin John Edusei conducts Verdi’s “La Traviata” with PJ Harris directing. Heidi Stober and Alison Langer star as Violetta with Egor Zhuravskii as Alfredo and David Stout as Germont. Kevin John Edusei conducts the production by PJ Harris.

Performance Date: Feb. 3-March 13, 2027

Lauren Snouffer, Liam James Karai, Joanne Evans, Emma Bell, Elgan Llŷr Thomas, Andri Björn Róbertsson, and Freddie Tong star in Missy Mazzoli & Royce Vavrek’s “Breaking the Waves.” Joana Carneiro conducts the production by Tinuke Craig.

Performance Date: Feb. 13-25, 2027

Neal Davies, Mary Bevan, Madeleine Shaw, Henry Neill, Alex Otterburn, Jonathan Lemalu, and Alaric Green star in Gilbert & Sullivan & Sullivan and Rowe’s “Trial by Jury & The Zoo.” Peter Whelan conducts the production by John Savournin.

Performance Date: March 4-12, 2027
