Biography

Lois Silverstein, Ph.D., has been writing for OperaWire for several years. A long-standing and devoted opera fan, she performed as a Super for many years as well. Further, she writes and publishes long and short fiction and poetry, and performed her own one-woman show in San Francisco on the Fall of Danzig and the beginning of World War II. "VALIA: The Story of a Woman of Courage."
