A Juneteenth celebration, “Oh Sankofa,” curated by Carl Hancock Rux, features choral performance alongside music, dance, and storytelling honoring Black American cultural traditions.

Mezzo-soprano Taylor Raven appears as a featured guest soloist with the Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center, led by Eun Sun Kim. The program features works by De Falla, Poulenc, and Debussy.

Countertenor Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen, soprano Lauren Snouffer, and bass-baritone Dashon Burton join the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra for “Of Rivers and Roses,” conducted by Peter Whelan. The program places works by Händel in dialogue with music by Caroline Shaw.
