
Arturo Toscanini Conservatory Named National Ambassador
By Afton MarkayArturo Toscanini Conservatory has been selected as one of the 100 national ambassadors chosen by the Osservatorio Eccellenze Italiane (Observatory of Italian Excellence).
The recognition, now in its 2nd edition, is sponsored by the Council of Ministers and from eleven Ministries that celebrates in a prestigious volume, published by RDE Publishing House, 100 exemplary leaders including municipalities, institutions, tradition, of artistic heritage, art, style, culture, research and health, and more. Alongside the Osservatorio Eccellenze Italiane, the selection of the winners is overseen by an authoritative Honorary Committee chaired for this second edition by President Tommaso Miele, Deputy President of the Court of Auditors.
The awards ceremony was held on Dec. 12 at the Sala Koch of Palazzo Madama in Rome. The ceremony took place as part of an exclusive presentation event of national importance and institutional image that celebrates Italian identity.
Arturo Toscanini Conservatory was founded in 1991. Today the conservatory is led by Professor Mariangela Longo, President Dr. Giuseppe Tortorici and Vice Director Prof. Simone Piraino.
