ArtSmart is set to present “The Power of Music” at the Kensington Quarters in Philadelphia on Oct. 18, 2023.

The event, which will feature tenor Michael Fabiano and local Philadelphia artists, will showcase both opera and popular song standards. Attendees will get a chance to dine with the performers during the event.

All proceeds from the event will support ArtSmart, which aims to transform the lives of youth in underserved communities across the U.S. with tuition-free music lessons.

“Since its founding in 2016, ArtSmart has had two goals— to empower students, who would not otherwise have access, with high-quality musical training and career-building mentorship, and to empower emerging artists with financial stability and quality work,” says ArtSmart’s official website. 

The event will be presented in collaboration with Artsi.

ArtSmart has recently partnered with such organizations as Opera San José.
