On Sept. 19, Arte.TV is set to present “Anna Netrebko, Vivre pour l’Opera.”

The film, which will be broadcast to celebrate the soprano’s 50th birthday, goes behind the scenes and showcases interviews and extracts from her finest performances.

Audiences will get a chance to see Netrebko open up about her successes, her projects, and her daily life, in particular, the mental and physical preparation she undergoes before each performance.

The documentary will also showcase arias from her upcoming album “Amata dalle tenebre,” which she recorded at the Teatro alla Scala with Riccardo Chailly.

The documentary comes a day after the soprano’s birthday concert at the Kremlin in Moscow, which will showcase Netrebko alongside friends and colleagues in a mix of repertoire highlights from her career.
