‘Arianna a Nasso’ to be Live Streamed with Carmela Remigio & Jessica Pratt

The Festival della Valle di D’itria in Martina Franca, Italy is set to live stream its new production of R. Strauss’ “Arianna a Nasso.”

The new production by Walter Pagliaro be broadcast at 9 p.m. Central Europe time on Italian Festival TV on July 21 and on Radio Rai 3 on Sunday, July 26.

The new production stars Carmela Remigio in the title role, Piero Pretti as Bacco, Jessica Pratt as Zerbinetta, and Vittorio Prato as Arlecchino. Fabio Luisi conducts the rarely performed 1912 version in a critical edition by Quirino Principe and Valeria Zurino.

The Festival is also set to present recitals with Jessica Pratt, Francesco Meli, and Luca Salsi.

The production opens on July 21 and runs through August 2.
