The Arena di Verona has announced a cast change for its production of “La Traviata.”

The company said that Jessica Pratt will replace Nina Minasyan in the role of Violetta on August 19.

Pratt recently performed at the Plácido Domingo Gala in Verona and this production of “La Traviata” marks her third production with the company. Pratt has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Opera Australia, Royal Opera, Teatro La Fenice, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, and Wiener Staatsoper.

The soprano is set to join a cast that includes Francesco Meli and Ludovic Tézier. Andrea Battistoni conducts the production by Franco Zeffirelli.
