Jonas Kaufmann is set to return to the Arena di Verona in 2025.

The company announced that the famed tenor will present a gala on August 3, 2025. Tickets for the gala will be on sale immediately.

This marks the most recent performance by the German tenor who has become a mainstay at Verona, having performed in galas in 2021 and 2023 and in a production of “Aida” in 2022. He also headlined this season’s opening gala and will perform Cavaradossi in “Tosca” on August 30, 2024.

This season, Kaufman returns to the Teatro alla Scala for a Puccini gala and the opening night production of “La Forza del Destino.” He also returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper, Tiroler Festspiele Erl, and Teatro San Carlo, among others.
