The ARD Competition which was held in Munich has announced the 2024 vocal winners.

The competition, which was held on Sept. 14, saw South Korean baritone  Samueol Park win first prize. The second prize winner was soprano Aurora Marthens, who also took home the audience award. The third prize was awarded to Russian soprano Mira Alkhovik.

The finalists also included Russian tenor Aleksey Kursanov and Italian soprano Lucia Tumminelli.

Matthias Foremny conducted the finalists with Münchner Rundfunkorchester.  The jury was made up of Waltraud Meier, Francisco Araiza, Lucio Gallo, Cornelia Kallisch, Zoryana Kushpler, Christopher Robson, and Krassimira Stoyanova.

The competition was held between Sept. 4 and 14, and also saw winners in the oboe competition, cello competition and Wind Quintet competition.
