
Anthony Roth Costanzo, Reginald Mobley, Sophie Klussmann, Élisabeth St-Gelais Lead Bourgie Hall’s 2026-27 Season

Concerto di Margherita opens the season with “Love’s Blindness – Il gioco della cieca,” a program of Italian Renaissance vocal and instrumental music by such composers as Caccnini, Monteveri, Kapsberger, D’India, and Frescobaldi, among others.

As part of the Festival international de la littérature, Bourgie Hall presents a concert honoring National Truth and Reconciliation Day, featuring a text by Natasha Kanapé Fontaine set to music by Cris Derksen and performed by Élisabeth St-Gelais.

Simon Leclerc and Gilles Vigneault present “A Musical Meeting,” featuring the world premiere of a song cycle for voice and piano based on poems by Vigneault. Baritone Hugo Laporte and pianist Olivier Godin perform.
Performance Date: Oct. 3, 2026
Soprano Elisabeth St-Gelais performs “Le Récital des Anges” alongside Orchestre de l”Agora, under Nicolas Ellis. The showcase features works by Sophie Lacaze, Debussy, Poulenc, and Cusson.

Soprano Sophie Klussmann and lutanist Hopkinson Smith perform works by John Dowland.
Performance Date: Oct. 30, 2026
Artists of the Opéra de Montréal’s Atelier Lyrique, including Grace Budoloski, Ellita Gagner, Colin Mackey, Dante Mulline Santone, Odile Portugais, and Jeremy Scinocca will present a Schubert concert. Tony Stauffer and Francis Perron join at the piano.

Les Violons du Roy, under Bernard Labadie, will present Rameau’s “Les Indes galantes.”

Ensemble Correspondances performs early cantatas by J.S. Bach. Sébastien Daucé leads. The concert includes Caroline Weynants, Lucile Richardot, Richard Pittsinger, and Lysandre Châlon as the vocal soloists.
Performance Date: Dec. 2, 2026
Opera Prima performs “Tormento Seicento,” with Amanda Forsythe as the soloist. The program includes music by Monteverdi, Rossi, Merula, Mazzocchi, Rore, Strozzi, an Sartorio, among many others.

Anthony Roth Costanzo and Bryan Wagorn perform works by Philip Glass.

As part of Black History Month, countertenor Reginald Mobley and pianist Baptiste Trotignon present “Because: A Concert of Spirituals.”

Ensemble Les Ondes performs Händel’s “Delirio amoroso” with Anna-Sophie Neher as the vocal soloist. The program is led by Mélisande McNabney and features other works by Händel.

Les Idées heureuses, under Geneviève Soly, leads a performance of works by Graupner with Andréanne Brisson Paquin, William Duffy, Arthur Tanguay-Labrosse, and Olivier Bergeron as the vocal soloists.

Contralto Rose Naggar-Tremblay headlines a concert alongside Les Violons du Roy, under Kyrian Friedenberg. The showcase features works by Corelli, Händel, Respighi, and Rota.
