On November 16, the French Institute Alliance Francaise, will hold “Le Petit Gala – A Soiree Outside the Box.” This event will blend live performances in Florence Gould Hall, and a traditional reception, with a free live-streamed component to make the gala open to a global audience.

The program will feature three artists who have all been inspired by French cultures: artist Jonah Bokaer, countertenor Anthony Roth Costanzo, and FlexN dance Cal Hunt. Joined by pianist Brian Wagorn, Costanzo will perform “L’invitation au voyage” by Henri Duparc, “J’ai perdu mon Eurydice” from Gluck’s “Orphée et Euridyce, and “Sous le ciel de Paris” by Julliette Greco.

There will be an auction with a number of items for audiences to bid on either in-person or at home. Dinner boxes are available to order for home delivery, featuring a three-course meal which includes D’Artagnan foie gras, Laduree pastries, and champagne and wine pairings.
