The Metropolitan Opera has announced a new cast change for its Jan. 10 performance of “Aida.”

The company said that Morris Robinson will sing the role of Ramfis replacing Dmitry Belosselskiy, who is ill.

Harold Wilson will sing the role of The King taking over for Robinson.

This is the latest change for the production as Belosselskiy canceled both Jan. 4 and 7 performances and Wilson and Robinson filled in.

Robinson opened the production of “Aida” on Dec. 31 in the role of the King and is expected to sing Ramfis in April performances. Meanwhile, Wilson, who made his Met debut in 2011 is expected to sing the Second Solider in the Met’s new production of “Salome.”

The Jan. 10 performance of “Aida” will star Angel Blue, Piotr Beczala (in his return to the production following illness), Judit Kutasi, and Quinn Kelsey. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts the new production by Michael Mayer.
