The 92nd Street Y, New York is set to present Brooklyn Rider with Anne Sofie von Otter.

The concert entitled “Songs of Love and Death” will be performed on Nov. 10, 2023 at the Kaufmann Concert Hall.

The evening will see Von Otter make a rare NYC appearance and will also mark the mezzo’s debut with 92nd STreet Y.

The program will include Schubert’s iconic “Death and the Maiden” with arrangements of Schubert lieder by Osvaldo Golijov and modern torch songs by Rufus Wainwright.

This season Von Otter is set to perform at the Nordlied Festival and will create the role of Gaby in the world premiere of Mikael Karlsson’s “Melancholia” at the Royal Swedish Opera. She also performs at the Theater Basel.
