Annapolis Opera Announces 2026-27 Season

The season opens with Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance.”
Performance Dates: Oct. 30 & Nov. 1, 2026
Verdi’s “Rigoletto” will be performed.

Season Highlights
The season opens with a Parisian-themed Season Opening Celebration.
Performance Date: Oct. 9, 2026
The company will present “Voices of America: Celebrating American Composers.” The concert will honor the rich musical legacy of America and the composers whose voices continue to inspire audiences today.
Performance Date: Nov. 15, 2026
Performance Date: Jan. 15, 2027
“The Ugly Duckling: A Children’s Opera” will be presented.
Performance Date: Feb. 13, 2027
The company will present “The Magic of Mozart” will be devoted entirely to Mozart’s vocal masterpieces, featuring moments from some of his greatest works.
Performance Date: Feb. 21, 2027
The company will present its 39th Annual Vocal Competition.
Performance Date: April 18, 2027
