The Vaduz Classic in Liechtenstein has announced that Anna Netrebko and Yusif Eyvazov’s concert has been canceled on August 26 due to health reasons.

The festival said, “Vaduz Classic regrets this short-term cancellation and apologizes to the guests. Tickets that have already been paid for will of course be refunded. On behalf of the Vaduz Classic Festival, we would like to thank you for your understanding. We deeply regret that the concert cannot take place as originally planned. ”

The program was set to include selections by Verdi. Elchin Azizov and Elena Zhidkova were also set to perform under the baton of Michelangelo Mazza.

Netrebko and Eyvazov next perform in Vienna in selections of “La Traviata.” The soprano will also take on the role of Violetta at the Arena di Verona while Eyvazov will sing a new production of “Aida” at the Berlin State Opera in October.
