Anna Netrebko is set to perform Verdi’s “La Traviata” on Sept. 6, 2023 in a concert performance.

The performance will mark the first time Netrebko sings the iconic opera in Austria since 2009. It also comes nearly 20 years after her breakout turn in Salzburg in 2005. The soprano famously performed the opera at the San Francisco Opera, Teatro alla Scala, Opernhaus Zurich, Royal Opera House, and Mariinsky Theatre, among others.

Netrebko will be joined by Yusif Eyvazov as Alfredo and Étienne Dupuis as Germont.

Michelangelo Mazza conducts the Philharmonie Baden-Baden and the Wiener Staatsopernchor.

Netrebko is set to sing “La Traviata” at the Arena di Verona on Sept. 9 in Franco Zeffirelli’s production alongside Luca Salsi and Freddie de Tommaso. Marco Armiliato conducts.
